These Terms & Conditions outline the professional framework for counselling sessions.

 

Ethical Practice Policy

I practise in accordance with recognised professional ethical standards and relevant UK legislation. My work is guided by an established ethical framework that informs confidentiality, safeguarding, boundaries and professional conduct. I attend regular clinical supervision to ensure safe, reflective and accountable practice.

 

Equality & Diversity Policy

I am committed to providing an inclusive and respectful counselling service in line with the Equality Act 2010. I do not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, gender identity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. I recognise that identity and lived experience shape how individuals experience the world, and I aim to create a space where difference is acknowledged and respected.

 

Assessment & Risk Management Procedure

An initial assessment is completed prior to ongoing work and risk is reviewed throughout therapy. Where risk exceeds the scope of independent practice, referral to a GP, safeguarding service or specialist mental health service may be considered.

 

Fees and Cancellations

The fee is £60 per 50-minute session.

At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

Professional Boundaries

Communication is kept within professional channels. I do not connect with clients via personal social media accounts in order to maintain clear professional boundaries.
